This poster was created for a Nowruz event (2023) at Trefpunt, celebrating the Persian New Year, which is observed across many Central Asian countries during the spring equinox.
For the design, I drew inspiration from the intricate aesthetics of Iranian miniature art, featuring a Tar player surrounded by the traditional "Haft-sin" (or "7-sin") table.
Haft-sin is a symbolic arrangement of seven items, each beginning with the letter 'S' in Persian, representing themes of renewal, prosperity, and life.
The poster received great feedback, and as a result, I was invited to design the official Gent Festival poster, using this illustration as the foundation.
